Introduction of OCT Law Firm

Our law firm was established in mid-2017 by 5 young but experienced lawyers with the same philosophy and motivation. Youth is not a synonym of lack of experience, but rather means vigor, energy and innovative thinking. Each partner has practiced in Macau for many years, and all of them have expertise in different areas, having provided legal services for local and overseas clients, as well as legal supports for state-owned enterprises and listed companies. All partners are experienced in commercial mergers and acquisitions, land mergers and overseas land acquisitions. Besides, each partner is well experienced in various legal areas, such as commercial counsel, sales and leasing, preparation and revision of different types of contracts and agreements, ect.. At the same time, our law firm has also good cooperative relationship with lawyers from overseas, Hong Kong and Mainland China, so as close cooperation with BVI's agency companies. Recently, in light of the great opportunities given by Central Government, our partners actively participate in the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Guangdong-Macao In-Depth Cooperation Zone in Hengqin, providing professional legal support to Macau residents who live or work in Mainland and to those who have investments in Mainland. In the meantime, OCT Law Firm acts as unit member of the Legal Professional Committee of the Guangdong Association for Promotion of Cooperation among Guangdong, Hong Kong & Macao, and is working for the contribution to the legal interchange and development among the three places. On the other hand, our law firm always bear in mind the importance of legal education and research. In addition to participating in legal education and attending seminars from time to time, we also provide scholarships at the University of Macau to encourage students with outstanding legal achievements.
